Brenda L. Smith, a retired educator, has been a teacher, principal, an assistant superintendent of schools, and a college professor. With her dissertation, Utilizing Expectancy Theory in an Investigation of Characteristics and Career Aspirations of Women Administrators in Georgia Public Schools completed in 1994, her attention turned to Insane Circumstances. This is her first novel, one that she knows readers will enjoy. Other than writing, the author’s hobbies include traveling, playing the piano, and helping others. Married to Jerry Smith, and the mother of two sons, Brian and Justin, she resides in Georgia.
